WHAT DOES FAT GRAFTING PROCEDURE INVOLVE?
Fat grafting is performed to provide men and women with a full face and youthful contours. The procedure often takes one and a half to two hours to complete. To personalize your fat grafting, you have many options as to where the fat is taken from.
Only topical and local anesthetics are needed at the site where the fat will be harvested and on the face where it will be added.
Small amounts of fat are removed from one part of the body, often the abdomen and then purified before being injected into specific areas of the face. Our surgeons have extensive experience with fat grafting and other facial filler procedures and always paying attention to evenly smoothing the fat as it is being injected.
