UPPER BLEPHAROPLASTY

Upper blepharoplasty is the most common and least complicated procedure. Upper blepharoplasty involves surgically removing the look of ‘hooded eyes’ or overhanging fat and skin under the eyebrow.
LOWER BLEPHAROPLASTY
​
Lower blepharoplasty is similar in that loose skin and fat are surgically removed under the eyes, or on the tarsal plate. This surgery alleviates the look of sagging or ‘bulging’ eyes.

For either surgery, sometimes fat is repositioned, and skin tightened depending on the architecture of the eye and the patient’s desired outcome.
